In 2014, Bryan and Brittani Von Roden (the eldest Kozik daughter) decided that the best memories are made on the farm. With that, they asked permission to invest in the well-known Kozik cattle business with Brittani’s dad, Doug Kozik. Soon after, the Kozik herd welcomed six new Herefords.

By 2016, TopHill Herefords was conceptualized and grew to just over 20 head. While TopHill Herefords may be new to the industry, the expertise behind the build is certainly not.
​
The Kozik Brothers, headed by Doug Kozik (Father), the late Virgil Kozik (Great Uncle), the late Don Kozik (Grandfather) and the late Steve Kozik (Great Grandfather) established their presence in the cattle business over 100 years ago. Since then the Kozik’s - with the help of Doug's son, Garrett Kozik - have grown into a brand recognized for their mothering ability, straight horn genetics, superior bloodline, and down-to-earth business acumen.
